I started this blog in my few days in Chicago before my adventure to Japan for the spring semester in 2014 at OGU, with the hopes that I would dutifully document my stories so that I may share with family, friends, and anyone else who might stumble across this page.

Flying down Japan

My first view of Japan! (A snowy Northern Hokkaido)

----------------------------------------

Entering the Japanese airspace apparently even changed the food! Woot! Yakisoba!

----------------------------------------

As we flew over the southern edge of Hokkaido, I saw this fantastic collection of clouds along the coast!

----------------------------------------

Then as we flew over the north-western edge of Honshu, I managed to get a pretty decent shot of a nuclear power plant! Woo!....

----------------------------------------

And I am pretty sure this is Fuji-san (Mount Fuji). Huzzah for cold air masses!

----------------------------------------

I love Japan. They're smart enough as a society to build breakers along the coast and NOT build on them! And I think those are probably squares of oyster farms in the top right-hand corner.

These last two images are mostly for Ma and Paul, because of the Charleston 5 book. Yay big ships and docks!
